Jazz Apples are so beautifully crisp and sweet, they are perfect for this salad. Lots of crunch and a creamy dressing makes this a great salad to accompany a roast chicken or your next barbecue. If you can’t find Jazz Apples, substitute with your favourite variety.
- 6 jazz apples (or substitute another crisp variety), cut into bite size chunks
- 4 celery sticks, chopped
- 200gm shelled walnuts
- 100gm sultanas
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tspns caster sugar
- 2 tspns salt
- ¼ cup lemon juice
- Combine the apples, celery, walnuts and sultanas in a bowl.
- Mix the mayonnaise with the sugar, salt and lemon juice.
- Add the mayonnaise dressing to the salad ingredients. Mix to combine.
