I have been super busy this month keeping up with catering jobs and events. Last weekend was a massive one for me as I catered at my first big music festival – the North West Festival. Over 2 days with a line up of artists ranging from Missy Higgins, Wolfmother, Art vs Science, The Dandy Warhols, Pigrim Brothers and plenty more it was as much fun to be there as it was hard work. I’ve been told there were 6000 people at the event!
So what did we have to offer? Of course I wanted to stay within my ‘roots’ and we served food from my childhood as well as some new items that I’ve come up with. We had traditional pasta and meatballs (best meatballs ever!), meatball subs, chicken schnitzel subs (parmigiana or with coleslaw) and of course we had Balls! Plenty of Balls! Arancini!!!!! They are a huge favourite!

They are so time consuming to make – I make everything from scratch so there is a lot of love going into those balls!! But so worth it.

Thanks so much to everyone who helped me – of course my man, but also my son Jake, Mum, motherinlaw, fatherinlaw and friends Georgina, Carly and Helen. We had a great time, worked damn hard, and survived!
